Chapter 1 Starting

Prologue:I am a loner, an introverted person and I never try to socialize with anybody since I find it uncomfortable. I am happy with this set up of my school life. Less hassle, less trouble, less stress. But unfortunately, an incident caused my quiet life to falter."Hey, Primitive!" I think they are our Seniors. I don't know if where did she get my name."Yes?" Clueless I promise."You bastard! Why are you flirting with my boyfriend ?!" Suddenly it promised and slapped me. I could not immediately react to what he did. What the?!. What is she talking about? All the students here in the cafeteria looked at our behavior. I really hate this. I really hate attentions. How did she accused me for something that I'd never done?"Don't accuse me, Miss. I don't know what you're talking about" I promised and put away my belongings. I'd better just leave here. I don't have time for this matter. I was about to leave when his companions blocked me so that I could not leave."Ha!" She scoffed. "What's wrong ?! Isn't that you ?!" And she throw photos in front of my face. Some of it was scattered on the floor. I frowned and took a picture. It's me and my ..... cousin. My fist clenched. Shameless! Is this what I'm saying! Lintik ka talaga, Aziz Lysander! I gasped and stared at the woman."I'm not flirting with him. I'm just his tutor" I explained calmly but he obviously didn't want to believe. It's really true. I am a tutor of my mongoloid cousin. I can't tell them that we're relatives since we have an agreement."Tutor? Am I dumb to believe you ?!" He said angrily so I calmed myself down. I smiled at him. I don't have choice but to tell her the most dumbest alibi that I have in my mind."Miss, I already have a boyfriend so don't blame me" I promised. This is probably the funniest reason I’ve done in my entire life. It's a good thing my gorilla cousin isn't here, otherwise, I'll be laughed at again. His forehead furrowed at what I said."Boyfriend? If what you're saying is true, show us what you're saying boyfriend" He said hard so it was as if I swallowed my tongue whole. I heard the ringing bell coming from the entrance of this cafeteria. It means someone is coming and passing it in our place since we are close to the pathway. I turned around and saw there a man coming in with two companions.Bahala na. When it passed our place, I immediately grabbed its arm to everyone's surprise. I don't know if it's only me but I saw them all turn pale in front of me. Everyone got silent and only I could hear is their gasps."He's my boyfriend" I said causing them to almost drop their jaws. I can feel that the guy suddenly stiffened. I looked up at it and gave it a follow-you-just-look. I just ignored these burning eyes that anytime I will be able to live here."S-Are you sure?" I couldn't believe the language of the woman in front of me who was the girlfriend of my gorilla cousin. I took it. I wondered when she immediately fix the photos on my table and leave without saying anything. When they left, I let go of the arm of the man I was holding and I was blown away by the wind. Tsk. I really hate this stuff.The heavy atmosphere around me still makes me look at my fellow students. They started whispering which frowned at me. What's going on? I turned my gaze to the man who was still here until now and his eyebrows were almost glued together because it was so close. His face is familiar. Where have I seen it? I stared at his face intently and I almost ran out of blood when I recognized who he was. Why didn’t I immediately face it earlier? Shit! O-Okay. It seems like I'm in big trouble."S-Sorry" That's all I said and I quickly put away my stuff. Shit! Shit! Primitive! You fool! I was about to leave when it touched my arm. It was so tight that I winced. If he's mad about it, then ... "I'm sorry for g-I did" I apologized to him again and swallowed because I was nervous.He is Kane Sylvester Rockford. The school's SSC President and not just like that, he is also a member of Basketball Varsity team. A Hearthrob of this school, a man of archery and a rumored boyfriend of Maddox Beatrice Cladéron. I close my eyes tightly because of the pain in my back. When I opened my eyes a pair of chocolate brown orbs meet my eyes. I was amazed to see his face again. It stared intently at me. I looked around and thanked him because no student was passing by here if it wasn't another scandal.When I recovered I pushed it but it didn't move. "What the hell are you doing ?!" I asked him annoyed, trying to fight the fear and the feeling I was feeling. An evil smirk slowly formed on his red luscious li-Oh come on! Stop it, Primitiva!"Is that so? After you put my name on something worthless, will you just apologize? That's not fair, lady" He whispered close to me. I can feel his warm minty breath on my face. I suddenly feel a weird thing in my tummy. I averted my eyes from him. H"Then, what do you want me to do? If you want me to withdraw my statement earlier then I'll do it even in front of our schoolmate to clear your name. Just to make it fair with you" I decided and pushed him again but he didn't really move. Someone save me from this guy!"No" He said and touched my chin and lifted it so that I could stare into his eyes again. His eyes seemed to be persecuted as well as my persona. "I want you to take responsibility for it. You started this game, so I'll play with it" He said and touched my lip which made me grin as I felt pain. I looked at his thumb where there was a little blood. I wish I could talk more this away from me."You're mine now, lady" He added before leaving me staring here in a corner. M-Mine? What the hell is he saying ?! Immediately?!Chapter OnePrim's POVA sound from my cellphone woke me up. I turned to the wall clock and saw it was 6:15 am. Tss. Who is disturbing my sleep? I fumbled with my cellphone while closing my eyes until I could hold it. I lazily sat up in bed and rolled my eyes. I yawn before opening my inbox. A text message coming from my cousin. My forehead frowned. What else do I need?Man! I need your help. See you at the Library. I'll wait for you here now.I rolled my eyes after reading his texts. Aba't! Its text messages have almost reached twenty but that is all the message. I haven't replied yet. I lazily went back to lying down. It's up to you to wait there. I'm feeling lazy. I was about to be visited again by drowsiness when my cellphone suddenly rang. Tsk. Annoying!I looked at the caller angrily. Tsk. This gorilla really annoys me. I just answered it. "If what you say isn't important, I'll really put you back in Tita's stomach" I annoyed her. I heard its giggle on the other line.[Just chill, man. I met Kuya who also came out of his room.Kuya is the only one with me at home because our parents are in the states. Mom has a business there."The morning you came in, Harriette?" He asked and looked at the wall clock. "Didn't you come in at eight o'clock?" He asked again as he fetched water from the fridge.I approached him and took some bread from the fridge and nutella in one of the cabinets. "Blame it on our gorilla cousin. He said he's going to ask for help from Science" I replied and put the leftover bread and nutella back in the container. Kuya just shook his head."Tss. What's new. I hope that idiot can graduate" He said like a zombie who walked into the living room and fell down to sit and lean on the sofa. He seems so stressed with his work. Well, what can you expect from a C.E.O.?My Dad entrusted our company to him after he finished college. Unfortunately, they must have grumaduate together with Aziz, his grade always failed so Kuya left him. Tss. Imagine, Aziz wasted two years because don. Kuya is like my Dad, it's easy to run out of patience and doesn't want to break suggestions. Tsk. But honestly, he's the best Kuya for me even though sometimes I like to tease about my lovelife. The truth is that I just really don't want to send him more because he also has a lot to take care of in the company and to avoid attention as well.I sang as I walked to school because I was excited to say what I wanted in return for the help I would give to Aziz. I was caught in my chest because of the extreme nervousness. What the? I was almost hit by that Goddamn car. I would have chased the one who was beaten up but I would be a jerk if I chased the car, right? Who is that? Is he blind?___I just calmed myself as I was close to the school gate. I looked around the school parking lot and saw that they were in a commotion again. Maybe it's those feeling artists who are bothering them again. Well, the hell I care? I just didn't pay attention to them and immediately went straight to the Library. It's good and there are almost no students here at school at this time. I saw Aziz who looked very bored waiting for me so I just laughed in my mind.When I got close to his seat I sat in the opposite chair. "I'm glad you're here. I thought you'd make me Indian." He said as if a thorn had been pulled out of his chest."I'm not like you, Aziz" I said and stared at him. He just laughed so I just stared. "What lesson can I teach you?" I will ask. It pointed to the thick book on the table. Biochemistry?"What do you not understand here?" I asked as I opened the thick book. Biochemistry is one of the challenging subject that we had this semester."Can I have a favor first, Prim?" He promised so I turned my eyes to him. It looks serious."If ever someone asks you about us, can you say you're just a tutor? Don't mention to anyone that we're cousins" He said with a frown on my forehead."Why, are you embarrassing me your cousin?" I asked him but he shook his head."Of course, no. I'll tell you next time. Please?" He said this and made puppy eyes then he held my hand. I stared at it and arranged his hand on mine."Just make sure it's not bullshit?" My threat caused it to raise its hand as if swearing. Tss. I remembered what I wanted in return for helping him so I closed the book first."I thought I was in return for helping you" I told him so he looked at me."And what is it?""I want a pet" I said."Don't Raiden and Tito want a pet in your house? Especially those ones with fur?" He asked so I nodded. I folded my hands."Did I ask about those?" I spoke meaningfully and raised my lower eyebrow causing me to swallow it."Prim, it looks like I don't like what's on your mind" Its annoying language so I want to laugh at the way he looks."Why? What's wrong with a snake?" Casually I said reason for it to fall on the stool he was sitting on.
