Chapter 1

"Oh, I thought you were busy?" that’s the opening of Rake’s friend Spike after he enters the Spiral Café.
Rake immediately took off the jacket he was wearing and loosened the necktie. He rolled up the sleeves of his polo shirt and then threw the jacket at the sleeping Loki.
"Troublesome," Loki muttered when he woke up. He arranged a seat behind the cashier. "What's your order?"
"I'm not a customer," he said. "Just the two of you?"
“Iggy and Patch are in the back. Acer will be here later,” Spike replied.
Here they will barricade themselves in the café they built two years after they graduated from college. They named it Spiral Café after their group. It has also been four years since they graduated.
Even though they have their own businesses, they decided to build something that they could use to relieve stress.
Thus, they built Spiral Café.
Instead of a normal café, they decided to make it a butler-style café. Actually, it wasn't them who came up with that idea.
When they have free time, they come here to the Spiral Café and help with serving or managing the café. They sometimes became butlers, they sometimes run the cashier, or in Iggy's position, he sometimes bakes cakes. Sometimes, when losing a bet it becomes dishwasher.
Instead of helping Spike with serving he stood at the counter and pushed Loki away. "Go help Spike instead of sleeping here," he said.
He stroked her hair and then yawned. "Troublesome."
Seated behind the counter he immediately noticed the magazine was there. He grabbed it and smiled when he read the title of the magazine.
From Lovestagram
Hot off the Press: Beastly Spiral
Rake opened the magazine and immediately saw the picture of the woman who had changed her view of the world.
The girl who managed to open his heart as if it was the easiest thing to do.
"I'd rather be an old girl than go back to that monkey!"
Cee just nodded at her friend Jea's litany. But in reality his attention was not on the friend but on the cereal he was eating. They are currently at Jea’s house and spending time. Este is working on a project.
"Patch also doesn't want to get back together with you, Jea, so you're fair," said Crea, one of their friends.
“Obviously that monkey likes it, Creapatra! He's always here, hello ?! That impact still has HD on me, ”Jea promised.
“Naturally, he is always here, he is a friend of your twin. You're just too paranoid, Jea! ” said another of their friends, Mai.
“Paranoid? You are illusory! ” Snow's second.
“Ambitious yet. I guess he can't move on, eh, ”Ava teased.
They laughed like villains on a Disney show. He who was busy eating just kept on nodding.
They have been in six classes since their first year of college. Because of the same habit they clicked six and became friends. She along with Jea, Crea, Mai, Snow, and Ava built the Love Club in their university called Lovestagram .
If they need help about love, they can go to the club. They also have their own magazine that is purely about love.
It doesn’t matter to Brookeshire University if the club is not formed academically. As long as the club has more than five members, the administration will not remove them. That's how wide the club registration at their university is.
“Why are you oppressing me? Argh! Help me, Cereal! ”
"Don't oppress Jea, maybe Patch will fight you, go ahead," he said.
"I hate you all!"
They just laughed as the teasing continued. This is difficult when they are six in a group for a project. They don’t end up because of storytelling!
He stood up when the cereal he had eaten had run out. "I'll just get a drink downstairs, Jea."
It nodded. “All right. Manang Fe was there, ”he said, referring to their housemate. He left them plowing.
He was just shaken. It looks like they will have to spend the night if their conversation continues. The project they are doing is for the final requirement in one of their subjects. Since graduating, they will be given grades early because the remaining months before the graduation of their batch will be devoted to taking care of requirements, practices, and club activities.
Just as he entered the kitchen, he opened the back door.
"Oh, you're here, Cereal," the newcomer Spike told him. It's Jea's twin.
"We're working on a project, eh," he said.
"You six will be in a group?"
He nodded.
"Best of luck to you," he said with a smile.
He frowned. It already knows the routine of their six— chikahan now, fabricated later. Not that they don't study. In fact, since their first year in college they have been Dean's Lister six. It is only natural that there is a chance that they are called chikadora-syndrome .
"Spike, ask for juice!" That voice came from the back of the house.
"Fuck you!" Spike shouted back. Shaking it opened the refrigerator and took out the juice.
"Ask me too, Spike," he muttered.
"There is a fee."
"All right, I'll give you cereal later."
Exaggerated that it enlarged her eye. "Are you sick, Cereal?"
He stared at it. "I don't know about you, ha, Spike!"
Spike just laughed. Then he handed her orange juice.
Because they are always friends here at Jea and Spike's house, Spike and I have become close. In their friendship with Spike, he can say that Spike is the kindest of them all. Or because maybe he's a friend of his twin so it's kind to him.
Spike's group is famous at their university. They were infamously known as the Spiral Gang. Stories are circulating throughout their university that they are involved in illegal racing. They also like to fight and quarrel.
It is also said that they were not expelled from Brookeshire even though the tires they entered were different because one of the members of Spiral was the son of the owner of Brookeshire. There is a fit, I suppose.
“You, why are you hanging out again? You don’t have a class? ” he asked the man.
Smiling it shrugged. You want to know the funny thing about this Spiral Gang? Even though they weren't attending their classes regularly, they could pass their subjects with flying colors.
"Spike, have you — oh, it's you, peasant."
Something seemed to shake his head when he heard that words from the incoming Rake. Rake is also a member of the Spiral Gang. For her and to the whole university, Rake was probably the richest and the evilest of them all. She doesn't hate Rake. She was just indifferent towards him since the day he called her "peasant." Does he really look poor? What a horror!
“Oh, it’s the I’m-above-you-peasant-because-my-family-is-rich-and-I-do-nothing-but-be-a-leech-to-them guy,” she said without a pause.
He saw the passing of annoyance in its eyes. They are just fair. It has no right to call him peasant. `Chura nito.
"Heh, I don't have time to the likes of you, Miss I-eat-like-a-pig," he said.
Be indifferent, Cee, he said to himself.
But it's really hard to be indifferent when Rake is involved. She is taking back what she said earlier that she is indifferent when it comes to men. He didn't like it. Period.
"Sorry for wasting your time, Mister I-own-the-world-kneel-before-me," he said sarcastically. Unsatisfied, he raised an eyebrow at her.
He didn't say a word but the hair on his arm was almost gone when he grinned. His smirk was pure evil!
"You two admit it, are you going to have an ex?" Spike's sudden groan caused the masculinity of his eyes.
“What ?!” he exclaimed. His eyes almost popped out in shock.
“Me? With this peasant? In her dreams, maybe, ”said Rake.
He's really testing my patience!
“Eh, you're almost at the same time because Jea and Patch are arguing. And those two have a past. So— ”
"I won't ever like this stupid guy!" he pointed at Rake at the same time.
"As if I will like you," said Rake.
"It's good that you're clear!"
He was about to get up and was about to leave the kitchen when Rake suddenly called to him.
"What's up ?!"
"You still have milk left over, peasant."
He heard Spike's laughter from the "background."
Her eyes narrowed. "I'm not a child anymore!"
Something evil crossed Rake's eyes. “I mean it literally. Try looking in front of a mirror first before facing me, peasant. Or are you provoking me to lick that milk on the side of your lips? Well, well. I didn't know you were dead to me— ”
“In your dreams! "Tse!" He turned around and right on the side there was a mirror. Her eyes widened when she saw that she had milk on her lips! That was probably from the cereal he ate!
When he turned around, Rake was no longer where he had been before. The only one there was Spike. The man grinned.
“Why didn't you say I have milk on my lips ?! "You're hungry!"
He quickly wiped his lips and ran back to Jea's room.
"What happened to you?" Ava asked as she sat down next to it.
He folded his arms. She knew irritation was painted on her face.
Among their friends, he is one of the long -suffering but when it really comes to Rake, the word "sorry" seems to be missing from his vocabulary. He was just plain annoying and unlikable! And evil. And handsome.
Erase, erase! Hold that thought, Cereal!
Though the evil bastard was really handsome, she could not deny that fact .
"Nothing," he said.
If Rake was one of the richest and evilest guys in their university, he was also included in the list of Handsomest Guy in their university. Calling him handsome would be an understatement. He was devilishly handsome with that evil smirk plastered on his lips. Same as the eyes that were glinting with hidden evilness. It is tall and when he is next to it he will look like an elf. It will reach maybe six inches in height. His hair was always messy but it looked good on him and he looked so cool every time he was running his hand on his hair.
His piercing black eyes seemed to be mocking every person he was looking at. It bites if you look. The bone -biting cold is even worse on Valentine’s Day and you don’t have a date. His nose was perfect as well. It looks like it was sculpted by a sculptor. That's why he can't believe it's fighting because it doesn't have a scratch on its face. And don't start with his lips. Rake has the fullest and reddest lips she had ever seen. And when he was showing that evil smirk of his ...
Yeah, she doesn't like him. She was just stating… facts.
Ows?
Okay! She would admit that once upon a time, she had a crush on him. But when she had a taste of that sharp tongue of Rake, all the likeness she felt left her system.
“Hello, Cereal? Calling Cereal? Come back! Yuhoo! ”
He closes his eyes tightly. He almost scolded himself for the thought. Indifferent, yeah right.
"Let's just finish our project or talk about Jea's Patch," he said.
"Yuck!" asik ani Jea.
They didn't do anything because everyone went to the bully again. But she would not trade these girls for any other girls out there.
