Chapter 1 The Scandal of Miss Young

Beach City
It was a hot summer, cicadas shouting endlessly, which makes someone feel restless and even bored.
Sat in the Young Garden, although Lucy Young wore a huge sunshade to block the direct strong sunlight, she was still sweating. The newspaper in her hand has already been crumpled, while the news report, with a photo of scandal, was still visible, and it is Lucy who was reported on the newspaper.
Lucy Young, the “only” daughter of Carl Hill, was deemed the apple of Sam Young. She disgraced the Young Family when she has just returned from abroad. However, she didn't shed a tear, but she had been sitting in the garden in a daze since she returned to Young Garden.
Towards evening, Lucy was called back to the hall by the servant.
“Lucy, why did you come back like this?” Carl sat there full of anger, “I don't believe it when they said that you live decadent life abroad, but now look at you! How can you be so dissolute?” After that, Carl turned on the TV, and what the TV showed is the interview with Sean Calvin, the third son of Calvin Family, who made the headlines of today’s news.
At this time, although wearing a pair of sunglasses, which covered most of his face, but he still couldn't cover up his inherent dignity and hegemony. A faint smile crossed his lips, which looked like a cynical prodigal.
“Master Sean, what do you think of this matter?” asked a journalist.
"I drank too much, and I don't know what happened next. Who knows how it happened? It is probably Miss Young threw herself at me on her own will?" Sean smirked, but no one could understand the meaning of his expression.
Out of grandstanding, it's not surprised for reporters to exaggerate his word in the headlines, like “Break News: Miss Young threw herself at Sean and is two-timing her fiance. Every man can be her husband.”
Exactly, Lucy has a fiance, but she didn't expect Sean to say that. “Every man can be my husband?” she thought, “Excuse me? My first sex was rob by him.” This man is so hateful and annoying. It is he who took advantage of her, while he took it for granted.”
After one day, her fiance still disappeared, he did not even give her a phone call.
"Dad, I..." Lucy wanted to explain, but she was interrupted before she spoke out a whole sentence.
"Lucy, you've really disgraced me. How can I go out to meet other people in the future? Why don't you have any shame? You are just like your mother!” Carl was very angry.
While listening to his own father say such words, Lucy just smiled faintly. She showed a dissatisfaction to Carl’s word. He can say anything about her, but he can never say a bad word about her mother.
“Dad, in your mind, I'm not your daughter, am I?" Lucy sneered, "yes, what was reported on the newspaper is true. I have Harry, but I still sleep with Sean. Are you satisfied with what I said?” Lucy raised his head proudly and stubbornly.
“How did I raise such a rebellious daughter?”Carl watched her face and then raised his hand with a heavy slap in the face.
“Have you ever cared about me for this years? I'm afraid that you might consider Judy Hill as your only daughter, right?" Lucy is no longer the the little girl who know nothing.
Carl snorted, and then he turned around and walked up to the second floor.
At the Night Rose Leisure club, Sean sat on the sofa with beautiful ladies in his arms that night.
“Master Sean, how can you be so relaxed after making such a mess? ” Joe Brown talked to Sean, drinking his wine.
“Or what?” Sean raised his eyebrows and continued to drink.
“Did you notice how your father react?” Steve Miller didn't think that the old Calvin would ignore this.
“Don't mention this. I'm here to relax tonight.” Sean shook his head.
Although he had so many gorgeous women around him, he was tired of it, and Lucy's stubborn and capricious appearance always flashed in his mind from time to time.
When Lucy saw the bloodstain on the white sheet in the morning, she just clenched her fist tightly and say nothing.
Sean drank a lot of wine last night, but he still knew what he had done. However, he thought he only have sex with a casual woman, even first sex, so what? Yet she is not someone ordinary, instead, the apple of the Young Family's eye, which seems complicated.
“I have something else to do. I must go.” Sean put down his glass, pushed away the woman around him and drank a glass of whisky.
“Sean, it is you who asked us to come here. Why did you leave in a hurry?" Rick Green stopped him.
"You can enjoy it. I pay all expenses this night." When Sean finished his word, he strode out of the private room and walked to the garage.
The car drove slowly on the road and the street was empty, only a few cars speeding on the road. Just then, he saw a white figure standing on the side of the bridge, and the lonely figure stunned him.
Lucy left Young Garden and wandered alone by the river, standing on the bridge under the cold wind for a long time. At this time, she opened her arms, facing the evening breeze, which lifted her skirt. Suddenly, somebody’s powerful arms pulled her slender arm.
"Ouch!" Lucy was hurt. She turned round and threw herself at Sean. They all missed their steps and stumbled at the same time.
"Miss Young is really enthusiastic. We just separated yesterday. Now look at you. You can't wait to throw yourself in my arms now." Sean stood up as he spoke, and picked her up by the way.
"Why is it my fault again? It is obviously you who came here to scare me, otherwise how could I..." Lucy frowned and bit her lips. It seemed that there was always no good thing when she met him.
"What are you doing here?" Sean turned to look at her. "You are not jumping into the river, do you?"
He only wanted to save people's lives, although he rarely does it normally, but he finally ruined it as well.
"Why do I have to jump into the river?" Lucy glared at him fiercely and pat the dust on her body.
"Then I really didn't expect that Miss Young has a strong heart." Sean stared at her and said.
Last night, she wore a heavy make-up, and he was not impressed by that, but now he was attracted by her fair face with no make-up, her shining eyes under her curled long eyelashes, and pink lips, which are very charming in the moonlight.
At the thought of what happened between them last night, he couldn't help feel nervous. When he turned to see Lucy's eyes, he coughed to conceal it.
"I’m not you. I do not blame on others." Lucy thought she shouldn't have said too much to Sean. Then she turned around and wanted to leave, but she was gripped by a powerful hand on her wrist.
