Chapter 1

"Natalia, time to wake up we have guests coming soon." My mum's unmistakable voice shouted up the stairs.

I groaned and rolled out of bed. First's things first, let me introduce myself. I'm Natalia Hart and I am 18 years old. I have mid length, straight dark brown hair and hazel eyes. I was meant to have found my mate by now but haven't. However I am not complaining.

I am not ready for my mate yet, I feel too be restricted. Plus who wants to be mated and just be there to have kids? Not me that's for sure. There are so many things I want to do before having to settle down with my mate. I also have an older brother who is now the Alpha of my pack, Red harts. He is 24 and called Jace Hart, he has a mate and 2 adorable children. Kim, his mate is 23 and they have a boy, Jack and a little girl Rosie.

My best friend, Mae was 18 as well and unlike me desperate to find her mate. Mae was always jealous of Jace and Kim's love and she wanted to settle down with her mate and have kids. We were complete opposites but we still loved each other. She was a bubbly and cheerful girl who has wavy blonde hair with green eyes.

Anyways, I headed to my bathroom and put on one of my dad's old jumpers and some leggings and chucking my hair in a messy bun, I headed downstairs. I heard my mum shouting before I even entered the living room; I sighed and opened the door. It was chaos. My mum was shouting orders at everyone, the poor servants kept getting confused to who my mum was talking to as she just pointed and this made her even angrier.

As soon as they all saw me they breathed a sigh of relief. I chuckled and headed to my mum. I massaged her shoulders and said, "Mum, I know this is a big deal for you but you need to relax."

My mum sighed and turned to face me and smiled. I helped my mum for the morning and through lunch, cleaning

and making sure everything was perfect for our guest, who happened to be Alpha Black.

He was said to be ruthless and kills for fun. I shuddered. I felt sorry for him knowing that he didn't have a mate and had been looking for 4 years. However the fact that he killed for fun and didn't even feel any remorse made me hate him. I was opposed to violence if it meant that innocent people died. Don't get me wrong, I am not weak, I am a strong person but I am a softy on the inside.

My brother, Jace decided to try and create a treaty with Alpha Black in order for our pack to be safe. Surprisingly,

Alpha Black actually agreed. He is very particular about who he deals with.

Unfortunately for me, my wolf has been on edge all morning and it was starting to piss me off. I tried asking her what's wrong but she didn't answer, I had a feeling it was something to do with Alpha Black. Maybe she was scared. Shaking off the thoughts I headed upstairs and into the shower. Once I was out and ready in some black skinny jeans and a white crop top. I styled my hair and put on the least amount of makeup.

"Nataliaaa." Mae said, rushing through my door with a massive smile on her face.

I looked at her weirdly but she carried on and said, "Nat. OMG they are here. Urgh, they are so unbelievably sexy, I wish my mate is in that pack. Then it would be worth saving everything for him." She winked at me.

I sighed and laughed at her. Unlike Mae who had even saved her first kiss for her mate, I hadn't. Of course was still a virgin but I already had my fair share of kisses and make out sessions.

Snapping out of my daydream, Mae dragged me out of my room and towards the window where we could see Alpha

Black's pack standing there talking to Jace and Kim. My wolf was becoming restless but still wouldn't tell me why. Before I could ask Mae why my wolf was behaving like this, 2 magnificent blue eyes looked up and caught mine. I gasped in shock..….....
